Logan swears to go "full f*****g beast" in new look at Succession season 3

Logan swears to go

One of TV's best dramas returns next month.

Succession is returning to screens next month for its third season which will see Kendall (Jeremy Strong) trying to take down his billionaire father Logan Roy (Brian Cox) and gain ownership of his media company Waystar-RoyCo.

However, those who have watched the show to date know that the patriarch to the dysfunctional family will not go quietly, with the new official trailer ending with Logan pledging to go "full f*****g beast".

Cox and Strong, along with cast members Kieran Culkin, Sarah Snook, Matthew Macfadyen, Nicholas Braun, Alan Ruck and J. Smith-Cameron, will be returning for the new season.

For those unaware (beware of spoilers ahead), Succession comes from the mind of Peep Show co-creator Jesse Armstrong and tracks the trials and tribulations of the Roy family, who are a collection of absolutely awful rich people with almost no redeeming features whatsoever.

With all of them are vying for control over Waystar-Royco, the result is an endless series of verbal power plays that rival the cut-throat world of Game of Thrones, as well as lots and lots of swearing.

In the new footage, we also see the FBI swarming Waystar-RoyCo offices over the cruise scandal involving the company which came to the public's knowledge during season two - something which seems to be spooking fan favourite characters Greg (Braun) and Tom (Macfadyen).

Viewers also get a glimpse of some new additions to the cast this season, which include Adrien Brody (Peaky Blinders), Alexander Skarsgård (Big Little Lies), Hope Davis (Your Honor) and Sanaa Lathan (Hit and Run).

It has been confirmed that the first episode of the new season will arrive on NOW and Sky Atlantic on Monday, 18 October, debuting at 2am in the morning for all your early risers.
