Teresa Giudice: Lori Loughlin can handle ‘whatever outcome’ as she faces 50 years in prison

Teresa Giudice believes Lori Loughlin can handle whatever prison sentence comes her way because she’s a woman.

“Women are strong,” Giudice, 47, told “Entertainment Tonight” on Thursday. “We have babies. We do it all. I’m sure whatever outcome it is, she’ll be fine with it.”

In 2015, the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star served 11 months in prison for fraud.

However, Loughlin, 55, faces a much larger sentence for her part in the college admissions scandal.

According to Deadline, the “Full House” star and her husband Massimo Giannulli were slapped with a new bribery claim in October, which could lead to 50 years in prison and around $1.23 million in fines each.

On Nov. 1, Loughlin and Giannulli, 56, pleaded not guilty to the criminal charge and other previous charges, including conspiracy to commit money laundering, conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud.

Giudice said Loughlin’s daughters, Isabella Rose Giannulli, 21, and Olivia Jade Giannulli, 20, are likely “grateful” for what their mother did.

“She was just looking out for her daughters and trying to get them into a good school,” the reality star told “ET.” “But I guess that’s it, just be open with them, and whatever the outcome is, it is. You have to deal with it and move forward.”
