Mandy Moore says becoming a mom has “changed everything” – including how she portrays Rebecca Pearson on “This Is Us.”

“I’m like, ‘Oh, it all makes sense now,’” the actress, 37, exclusively told Page Six at LA’s PaleyFest on Saturday.

“I want to go back and redo everything.”

Moore – who welcomed her first child, son Gus, with husband Taylor Goldsmith in February 2021 – has portrayed the beloved Pearson matriarch since the NBC series’ Season 1 premiere in 2016.

Her character is mom to the “Big Three” – Kevin (Justin Hartley), Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Randall (Sterling K. Brown) – with husband Jack (Milo Ventimiglia).

“I just feel like the interaction that I have with the kids now … I have always felt the maternal instinct in me, but now it’s fully solidified,” she explained.

“Just like the little things of someone being like, ‘I need a water,’ ‘I’m hungry,’ or ‘I have to go the bathroom.’ Like, ‘Guys, guys, guys. No, that comes first. That’s the priority.’”

She added, “Whereas before – I obviously would have cared about children’s needs – but it makes it next level.”

The sixth and final season of “This Is Us” has already proven to be a tearjerker as fans gear up for Rebecca’s inevitable death amid her Alzheimer’s diagnosis.

Moore confirmed to Page Six that they have yet to shoot that heartbreaking scene.

“We still have the last three episodes left to shoot. So, the end is near,” she shared. “I think we’re all sort of like, we’re just, yeah, holding on for dear life.

“It’s gonna be really hard. I don’t know how we’re gonna do it, quite frankly,” she continued. “It’s so emotional.”

Ventimiglia, 44, also addressed the series coming to an end while speaking to us on the red carpet Saturday night. He thanked fans “for sticking around” this long and making this a job he’ll never forget.

“Thank you for staying with us, for sticking around, for investing time, showing up on a Tuesday at nine for six years,” he said. “This is pretty wonderful. I’m just, I’m grateful. I’m very, very grateful for you.”

“This Is Us” airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
