“You’re not about to get me in trouble,” Rae joked to a People magazine reporter while on the carpet at AT&T’s Game Ball Experience, “I’m going to let Greta and Margot take the lead, and I’m shutting the f**k up and sitting back,” she went on.

Lauren Proud, Vice President of Global Marketing at the Rosco paint company, spoke to the LA Times to share the details of the alleged shortage. The outlet shares that Rosco is strongly linked to the film and television industries.

“They used as much paint as we had,” Proud said.

Production Designer Sarah Greenwood would echo Proud’s statements in an interview with Architectural Digest.

“The world ran out of pink,” Greenwood told the publication. However, she cited the global COVID-19 pandemic as a contributor, too.

“There was this shortage,” she went on to explain. “and then we gave [the film] everything we could- I don’t know if they can claim the credit.” Although the film affected the company, Greenwood continued, “They did clean us out of paint.”
