While plenty of trends come and go, Hollywood has yet to give Dr. Martens Jadon Boots the boot.

In fact, as the punk-esque platform footwear turns 10 years old this month, it’s racked up a long list of celebrity fans including Miley Cyrus, Lil Nas X and Bella Hadid — to name just a few.

While the chunky boots evolved from the label’s iconic 1460 style — which features the same 8-eye lacing and tell-tale yellow stitching — they were the first to feature Dr. Marten’s now-ubiquitous platform PVC outsole.

“While we expected the Jadon boot to be big, it became massive,” Dr. Martens’s global creative director, Darren McKoy told Vogue of the design, noting that it took off in Asia and has since become a global success.

And just as the 1460 boot earned the support of rockstars like The Who and Elton John, the platform Jadon style ($210) has reached new heights (both literal and figurative) of celebrity popularity — including becoming a particular favorite of model Agyness Deyn, who worked closely with the brand’s team.

Shortly after the design dropped in 2013, Miley Cyrus also began incorporating them in her edgy “Bangerz” era styles.

Years later, Olivia Rodrigo adopted them as a signature style of sorts for her own headline-making album era: the 2021 “Sour” tour. (She’s also a fan of the buckle-adorned version — the sold-out Jadon Max Hardware Leather Platform Boots  — which she sported for her “Sour Prom” concert video.)

The platform footwear is also an off-duty model staple, with the likes of Bella Hadid and Kaia Gerber dressing down the shoes with their street style looks.

A-list men are equally enamored with the look; Lil Nas X teamed his blue snakeskin suit with a pair of patent leather Jadon boots at the GQ Men of the Year red carpet in 2019.

Machine Gun Kelly has also made the boots his signature style — and Megan Fox has also adapted the look since the start of her relationship with the “Bloody Valentine” rocker.  (Friends Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker similarly match in their Dr. Martens, although the reality star tends to reach for styles including the 1461 Smooth Leather Oxford Shoes, $120).

In addition to the signature black version — and MGK’s go-to white pair — the boots also come in a variety of shades and styles, ranging from burgundy Lace-Up Boots (from $200) to an extra high platform Jadon Max Boot ($230).
