Aniston’s joint post with Sandler got quite the response from fans as they showed great excitement for what’s to come in the new “Murder Mystery 2.”

The post included a photo of the stars with the ocean in the background and a video of the movie’s production process. Beneath the post, the caption read, “Back to work. #MurderMystery2.”

Over 6,000,000 fans liked the post, and more than 45,000 remarked with lots of love emojis. Among the commenters were celebs like Jennifer Garner, Juliette Lewis, Jodie Smith, and Justin Anderson.

Even with the movie’s negative reviews in 2019, it was still Netflix’s most popular title based on the number of views. The encouraging turnout granted the producers a second part for the movie.

In a report by Screen Rant, a few months after “Murder Mystery,” the production company announced the sequel’s development. However, filming recently began this year in Oahu, Hawaii.

There is no precise date for the end of the filming, and Netflix hasn’t revealed its release date either, but it has been predicted to be released later this year or early next year.

Sandler and Aniston would remain with their roles in the new movie, but there hasn’t been any talk about who would be cast with the stars.

Since the main characters were both filmed in vacation clothes, the movie’s plot may not be very different from the prequel; their vacation on the island would be interrupted by a murder.

The “Horrible Bosses” Actress Didn’t Have Her Parents Support At The Beginning Of Her Acting Career

Aniston gained fame for her role in “Friends,” but she honed her acting skills before her success by featuring in less popular shows.

The Blast previously reported that the 52-year-old was born to Hollywood veterans who tried to shield their daughter from Hollywood and pop culture.

Becoming an actress wasn’t what her parents wanted for her as they wanted her to become a doctor or lawyer, even though they were both quite successful in acting.

Aniston revealed in an interview with Collider that she didn’t really watch television when growing up, but she could go to the theater.

She attended a Waldorf school that didn’t permit television, and the only time she could watch TV there was when she was homesick and wanted to see her dad’s acting.

From the beginning, Aniston always wanted to be an actress, but her parents didn’t like the idea. They tried to convince her to choose another profession because of how challenging Hollywood was.

The talented producer surprisingly didn’t have a good relationship with her parents. Her parents weren’t always happy together, and eventually, her dad left when she was younger.

She admitted to growing up in a disrupted home where she felt unsafe with the level of toxicity her parents showed each other. Her mother also constantly criticized her, which affected their relationship until her mother’s death.

Jennifer Aniston Isn’t So Lucky With Marriage And Having Kids

Being one of the highest-paid actresses didn’t mean Aniston would have a thriving romantic life as she had no such luck.

The Blast shared that the California native was married twice; to Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux. She divorced them after a few years together.

After the split, she dated several other men, including Adam Duritz, Daniel McDonald, and Tate Donovan. None of her relationships ever produced kids.

Aniston expressed how hurt she felt when people assumed she put her career over having kids in an interview with Hollywood Reporter. That wasn’t the first time she referred to having kids.

Later in 2020, the Golden Globe recipient addressed people’s opinions about having kids. She said that the decision to get pregnant wasn’t anyone’s business, and not having kids doesn’t make a woman incomplete or unsuccessful.

Aniston has never divulged why she doesn’t have kids despite her revelation about wanting kids as part of her future.
