Woman Injured At ‘Crowded’ Harry Styles Concert Files Lawsuit, Seeks Damages

Harry Styles is making headlines, and this time it’s not particularly for the right reasons.

The singer has found himself in the center of a legal scuffle after a concertgoer had a terrible experience at one of his shows.

Woman Sues After Suffering Injuries At Concert

Per TMZ, a woman who attended one of Styles’ concerts in Los Angeles is suing the venue after she was stampeded and got injured.

The unnamed woman alleged that during Styles’ “Fine Line” album release show in December 2019, held at The Forum, she was knocked to the ground after a massive crowd rushed towards the stage.

She claimed that the mob caused serious injuries and “crushed her body.” The anonymous concertgoer didn’t specify what injuries she suffered but alleged that the ticketing services, venue, promoters failed to provide the necessary amenities.

The woman noted that sufficient seating, crowd control, lighting, security, and appropriate supervision were not present during the concert. She also noted that the concertgoers in front were put in harm’s way as the crowd surged.

Unlike in the case of Travis Scott, Styles wasn’t named as a plaintiff in the lawsuit. However, the woman is suing The Forum, Stubhub, Live Nation, and Ticketmaster.

The woman is seeking an unspecified amount in damages because the injuries she suffered are “chronic and debilitating.” The “Watermelon Sugar” singer hasn’t publicly commented on the matter as of this writing.

Harry Styles Helps Fan Come Out

The lawsuit filed concerning Styles’ concert comes as quite a shock given that the singer’s shows have always been known as a safe haven for his beloved fans.

The English artist has a knack for making his fans super comforting and sometimes even helping them sort through personal issues. Such was the case in November when Styles helped a nervous fan come out to her mother.

As The Blast covered, the fan named McKinley McConnell held a sign asking him to help her come out to her mom seated in another section of the venue.

At first, the singer wanted to hand the mic to McConnell to tell her news, but he sprung into action when she got cold feet.

He walked over to the mother’s section and yelled, “Lisa, she’s gay.” The crowd cheered while the mother-daughter had an emotional moment blowing kisses at each other.

Sometimes He’s A Couples Counselor

Another case of Styles being an absolute sweetheart happened during his “Love On Tour” show at Madison Square Garden when he spotted a fan with a weird sign and played a couples counselor.

The elated fan wrote “I came with my ex for you” on a placard, catching the songwriter’s attention. Styles proceeded to question the fan and found out the couple broke up just weeks before his concert.

Styles praised the couple for their maturity and then urged them to “take it all the way back,”‘resulting in the lovebirds sharing a hug and a kiss.
