A woman in her 30s has died from injuries after being struck by a car in Donegal. A six-year-old child was also involved in the incident, and was taken to University Hospital Letterkenny following the crash.
A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána has confirmed that they are investigating the collision, which occurred yesterday (10 January) at Chaple Road, Dungloe, Co. Donegal at around 6.30pm.
The Gardaí further confirmed that the driver of the car was not injured.
None of those involved have been publicly named.
The area is sealed of to facilitate an examination of the scene by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
