Lala Kent is taking no chances as she is dipping her toes back into the dating scene, following her messy split from ex-fiance Randall Emmett.
The reality star recently gave an update on her dating life and gave a shocking revelation about a new man she met.
Lala Kent Gushed About ‘Superman-Like’ New Date
As The Blast previously, Kent detailed her first date post-breakup in early February during an episode of Amazon Live where he discussed fashion.
The “Vanderpump Rules” star who was joined by her daughter Ocean revealed that she was preparing for a date the following night.
MEGAKent who was excited told fans, “I’m going to spill a secret, I have a date tomorrow night. It’s a group date. I’ve said on my podcast a million times I’m not ready to go on a date, but I feel like this will ease me in because it’s a group setting.”
She continued, going into details about her mystery date who she described as “fine.” The mother-of-one wasted no time opening up about the things she particularly fancied about her date, saying, “he is very tall. He is built like Superman and has a lot of tattoos. And I like that. And he’s gentle.”
Kent confessed to her fans that she was “very excited” about the prospect of dating again, before joking that she would crawl into a hole of her date was listening to her live stream.
Unfortunately, it seems the excitement Kent felt about her prospective new man didn’t pan out into a relationship.
Kent Gives Update About Mystery Date
In a new Amazon Live episode streamed last weekend, Kent gave fans an update on how the date went with the superhero hunk.
While giving her audience tips on how to achieve date night looks on a budget, Kent shared that things didn’t work out because the mystery date failed a background check by her private investigator.
He was fine, but the PI check didn’t come back so great, so I had to kick him to the curb. [I] haven’t been on a date since. I’ve been talking to people, but no dates.
Instead, the “Hard Kill” actress shared that she now goes on dates with Ocean and her mother. “Such a vibe,” she gushed.
The 31-year-old had previously spoken about her need to always run background checks on potential dates because of the pain and distrust she endured at the hands of Emmett.
Emmett and Kent went their separate ways after the television producer cheated on her and their three-year engagement ended. As a result of the infidelity, Kent is keen on knowing important details about her dates.
“I got to see what your credit is. I need to know your family history. I need to know everything you’ve been involved with. I’m going deep,” she explained.
She continued, stating that she has to know about the potential date’s tax liens or sketchy background before giving them access into her life.
Kent has never shied away from speaking up about Randall’s infidelity and how he cheated on her with a 23-year-old during her pregnancy with Ocean.
Inside The Ocean-themed Party For Baby Ocean
As The Blast reported earlier, ahead of Ocean’s 1-year-old birthday on March 15, Kent went all out for her baby girl with an ocean-themed pre-birthday party.
The doting mother took to social media to show off the celebration which took place in a yard with loads of drinks and food at the guests’ disposal. “A little taste of O’s birthday party over the weekend,” Kent captioned the post.
Per reports, Kent made use of Brittany Cartwright’s house to host the celebration and both former and current “Vanderpump Rules” stars were present with their kids at the party.
The elated celebrant was dressed to the nines for her pre-birthday party with a gorgeous purple mermaid outfit as she had a swell time with her friends. The kids had numerous activities like bouncing castles, ball pits amongst others.
Doting mother Kent gushed about her beautiful daughter, saying, “Ocean tuning one is bittersweet. I can’t believe how quickly the time has gone, but to see these little milestones happening in the past year has been beautiful to watch.”
