Amanda Kloots Earns Perfect Score With Late Husband’s Song On ‘DWTS’

Amanda Kloots and Alan Bersten are fresh off the heels of a perfect night on “Dancing With The Stars” after their emotional performance.

The co-stars wowed the judges and audience with their touching dance, which was also a tribute to Kloots’ late husband, Nick Cordero.

This performance earned them highly coveted perfect ratings. These scores were a lifesaver for the dance duo, who were lifted from their position in the bottom two.

Amanda Kloots And Partner Dance To Nick Cordero’s Song

The November 15 “DWTS” semi-finals wrapped up with an emotional choreography from Kloots and Bersten that left viewers in tears, ET reported.

The pair did a redemption tango number earlier, but their contemporary dance performance to late Cordero’s “Live Your Life” sealed the deal.

Kloots and Bersten earned a perfect score for their tribute to the singer who passed away in July after a 95-day COVID-19 battle. He is survived by their 2-year-old son, Elvis.

The dance saved the pair from elimination as they were in the bottom two. They chatted to ET about the experience.

Bersten said it felt so magical and, as host Carrie Ann Inaba said of their performance, they “transcended.” He added that it was beautiful, and he felt so grateful.

Kloots gave her co-star “major props” for listening to her backstory with Cordero, which included unique things nobody else knows. They told this story with their choreography.

“That meant the world to me, it really did,” the mother-of-one said. Bersten noted that he felt pressure to do justice to his co-star and her late partner.

At the end of the day, the perfect score winners of the night thanked those voting for them, affirming that they were “happy to be here” so close to the finals.

Kloots debuted on “DWTS” with Bersten for the 30th season, which premiered on September 20.

The Blast reported that the 39-year-old said after her ordeal with the pandemic and losing Cordero, “this opportunity is kind of a way to find myself again and to feel his presence every day.”

The fitness trainee said she misses her husband each day, but he would want her to keep going and live her life.

Kloots’ first performance with Bersten was a tango which earned them a score of 28 out of 40. She also gushed about her debut on Instagram.

Judge Carrie Ann Inaba credited the mother-of-one for her elegance and strength during her performance. She warmed Kloots’ heart by saying Cordero was watching above with pride.

The official “DWTS” Instagram handle also celebrated the dancer’s debut with four stills. The two were seen looking glamorous in reflective two-toned purple outfits.

“The Talk” Co-Host Honors Her Late Husband’s Legacy

Kloots’ “DWTS” Monday performance was not her first time honoring Cordero’s legacy.

The Blast previously shared that the TV personality held a memorial for her late partner with family and pen-pals in July 2020.

She updated Instagram about the “beautiful and perfect” ceremony where she felt Cordero’s spirit.

Kloots founded #WakeUpNick on Instagram Live while her partner was hospitalized and unconscious. This featured fans dancing to “Live Your Life” in a virtual one-hour party.

The loving wife also fashioned a ring with some of Cordero’s ashes by jewelry designer Stephanie Gottlieb.
