Anne Heche is “in stable condition” following the fiery accident that left her severely burned Friday.
A rep for the actress, 53, told People in a statement Saturday, “Anne is currently in stable condition.
“Her family and friends ask for your thoughts and prayers and to respect her privacy during this difficult time.”
Her ex-boyfriend also told the Daily Mail she is expected to make it.
Thomas Jane, who dated Heche in 2019, told the outlet, “My thoughts and prayers are with Anne, one of the true talents of her generation.
“Thank God no one else was hurt.”
The recent update comes one day after the “Six Days Seven Nights” actress crashed her blue Mini Cooper into several buildings before it caught fire.
The actress was taken away on a stretcher with visible burn marks.Fox 11According to TMZ, bystanders tried to help the actress out of her vehicle after she crashed into a parking garage. However, she allegedly backed up and drove off before crashing into another home where her car became “engulfed” in flames.
Aerial shots of the incident showed the actress being taken away on a stretcher. Her clothes and back looked visibly burned.
It’s presumed that Heche was under the influence of alcohol, as a bottle with a red cap was spotted in her car shortly before the accident. However, the Los Angeles Police Department could not confirm this detail.

Sources told TMZ at the time that Heche was intubated in the hospital, but “expected to live.”
However, no tests to determine if she was under the influence could be done because her condition prevented it.
