Brie Larson is back on the dating market.
The “Captain Marvel” star confirmed that she and film director Elijah Allan-Blitz have parted ways in a new cover story for Harper’s Bazaar’s April issue.
“I don’t have a next job. I don’t have a home. I don’t have a partner. I don’t have a plan. I’m just completely open,” Larson told the outlet.
The 33-year-old struck up a relationship with Allan-Blitz in 2019 but didn’t go public with their romance until February 2020 at the Academy Awards.
While she remained tight-lipped on the reason for the split, the Oscar winner admitted that motherhood is something she wants for herself.

The “Room” actress said she’s enjoying “this period of adventure” which includes dabbling in art and visiting museums.
Larson admitted that after entering her thirties, her outlook on her future began to shift.

The reasoning for the couple’s breakup is unknown, as Brie Larson kept tight-lipped on the reason for the split. GC Images“I had all the same normal fears as everybody else about being single and being 30,” she told the publication. “What do I want? How does a family and a future fit in with my weird life?”
Larson also mentioned she plans to take time to experience life before committing to a new role she fears fans would see as “a copy of a copy of a copy.”
“You can’t play a character that’s based off of — I don’t know — watching documentaries and secondhand information,” she added.

“This photo was taken early last year. We had no idea that the whole world was about to change. Thank you for showing up and being my teammate through all of it. I love you, Brie,” he captioned a pic of the pair together at the time.
For her part, Larson shared a snap of them together in July 2022, writing, “Get yourself a guy who will fly across the globe to hold your hand while you live your dream. I cherish you @elijah_a.b.”
The actress was previously engaged to actor and musician Alex Greenwald who popped the question in 2016.
The pair ultimately called it quits in early 2019.
