Cher hits Balmain runway in spandex bodysuit during Paris Fashion Week 2022

Can you “Believe” it?

Cher made a surprise cameo during Paris Fashion Week 2022 on Wednesday, closing the Balmain runway show in a skintight marbled black bodysuit with bold shoulders, along with matching leggings.

The 76-year-old pop icon strutted her stuff in a pair of black platform boots as her 1998 hit “Strong Enough” played in the background.

Cher was joined on the catwalk by Balmain’s creative director, Olivier Rousteing.

And the “If I Could Turn Back Time” hitmaker wasn’t the only major name modeling in the show; Ashley Graham and Kristen McMenamy were among the others in the cast.

Meanwhile, stars including Kylie Jenner, Brooklyn Beckham, Nicola Peltz and Dove Cameron watched the spectacle from the front row.

“JUST HAD BEST TIME, ON STAGE…FELT GREAT,” Cher tweeted after the show.

“SHOW WAS PROBABLY [THE] BEST FASHION SHOW ‘EVER’ … CLOTHES 2 DIE 4.”

Rousteing raved about the casting coup in a press release, saying, “Cher has been a daring pioneer, a true trailblazer, for over six decades, never slowing down, always pulling us along with her, as she courageously marches forward.”

Continued the designer, “‘Style icon’ doesn’t come close to describing her achievement of defining more than a half-century’s worth of fashion’s trends. And, in this challenging age that compels us to fight for long-overdue changes, her impressive, long-term commitment to dedicated activism is an example to all.”

Indeed, the trendsetting Taurus was first to a number of daring looks that have since become ubiquitous on the red carpet, from the “naked” dress to the sky-high headpiece.

“She was never intimidated by anything that I ever put on her,” Bob Mackie — the designer behind many of Cher’s most iconic looks — told Town & Country in a recent interview. “She was just amazing in that department.”
