Emily Ratajkowski’s Son Sylvester Looks Adorable In THIS New Photo

Emily Ratajkowski may be estranged from her allegedly cheating ex-husband, but she has a son she cherishes and shows off every time she gets.

Her little boy, Sylvester Apollo, was born in March 2021, more than a year before Emrata’s split from Sebastian Bear-McClard, the father of her child, for supposedly being unfaithful. Nevertheless, the London-born supermodel never ceases to bask in every moment with her baby boy, and she recently gave fans a glimpse of him looking adorable.

In the image the 31-year-old shared, Sylvester could be seen sitting on a high cushioned chair, sweetly looking up at the person behind the camera. He looked fashionable, sporting a two-piece Versace outfit comprising black sweatpants and a matching long-sleeved shirt.

The pants had a white signature pattern on each leg, while the shirt’s sleeve had a similar design. In addition, the top had Versace printed across its front in white capital letters. “Sly is ready for you,” the doting mother wrote on the post and tagged Versace, calling their attention to the tot’s swanky fit.

Sylvester is a little over one year old after celebrating his first birthday on March 8, which his mama marked with a beautiful message and a series of photos on the gram. PEOPLE shared the celebration, noting that her post featured images from the little one’s birthday party, including one of him beaming at his colorful cake.

There was also another photo of him standing in front of balloons that spelled out his name. At the same time, the “iCarly” announced that it was her son’s birthday by penning, “1 year of Sly – happy birthday, my boy.” She also wrote that the momentous day was “the most magical day of my life” before expressing that he had brought her an unimaginable amount of joy and magic.

Ratajkowski then added a picture of herself and her then-husband with a note that read, “We love being your parents. Love doesn’t even begin to describe it.” In a previous interview with Elle, the “We Are Your Friends” actress voiced her relief in finding out she was pregnant with a boy even though she initially hoped for a girl.

She shared the reason behind her relief, saying, “Because I think that it would bring up – something I deal with later – being sexualized way before puberty and being aware of it.” The revelation led Emrata to recall a time in her younger years when she made a “sexy move” down the wall of her parent’s kitchen.

At the time, she was “probably in first grade,” and her parents asked her where she learned such a move, prompting her to reply: “I fricking learned it. That’s what women do.” During her pregnancy journey, when she first shared the news in a Vogue essay in 2020, she explained the reason behind not wanting to disclose her child’s sex then.

She wrote that whenever she and her then-husband told friends, she was pregnant, they congratulated them and always asked immediately after if they knew what they wanted. The estranged couple used to respond that they would not know the gender until their baby clocked 18 when the child was likely old enough to decide for themselves.

Emrata finally filed for divorce from her since-separated husband earlier this month in Manhattan Supreme Court, and as The Blast reported, the filing was contested. Based on the obtained court documents, the contest indicated some proceedings issues, but it was uncertain what the problems were.

Fans may recall that news of the former couple’s separation initially came about in July with adultery claims. Also, the “Gone Girl” actress was spotted without her ring while walking her son. An informant shared at the time that Bear-McClard was “a serial cheater,” calling him “gross” and a “dog.”

Another source revealed that Ratajkowski decided to call it quits with her partner before adding that she was strong, doing fine, and loved being a mother as she remained focused on her son. Although she did not comment on the split at the time, she severally hinted through social media that the reason for their breakup was infidelity.
