Erika Jayne Misses This About Her Marriage With Tom Girardi

“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Erika Jayne has no qualms in sharing the best parts of being married to her old flame, Tom Girardi.

The estranged couple tied the knot in January 2000 and separated in November 2020. Later in 2021, Thomas was placed in conservatorship, and the following month he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.

Erika still keeps in touch with Tom even though he often has problems remembering who she is. Nevertheless, they have their brief moments, and she recently articulated the parts of him she misses.

While promoting season 12 of “RHOBH,” the former actress gave fans a detailed insight into her status with her ex-husband via Page Six.

She admitted to the outlet that she missed who he was before he got into his current condition as they had pretty joyful moments through the years. Erika elaborated saying:

“I miss the fun, bright, intelligent person that really liked to have a good time and was magic. I miss that, of course. But we all get old, and we all come to this place in our life, and he’s here.”

She noted that the former attorney was in “a state of decline” but often communicates with him, regardless of how short-term their conversation goes.

Tom left his Pasadena mansion last fall due to his Alzheimer’s disease and dementia diagnosis, and he currently resides at a memory care facility in Burbank, California.

Since the onset of the condition, the conservatorship he was placed in has been managed by his brother Robert Girardi.

Speaking of Erika’s talks with her previous spouse, mainly via the phone, she said, “I take his call, and it’s never more than 10 seconds. And sometimes he thinks I’m someone else … so there’s a lot of that. Tom reaches out from time to time.”

She further spoke about her future romantic relationships, noting that getting linked to Tom’s alleged misdeeds negatively affected how she would go about establishing her love life.

“I can still have love for people,” the 50-year-old said, adding, “Even maybe they disappointed me or something like that. But I think the trust issues is probably more [important]. That’s probably the most important thing, is trust.”

Regarding the alleged wrongdoings, a month after the 50-year-old filed for divorce, she and her then-partner were sued by Edelson PC for reportedly embezzling settlement money for the victims of Lion Air Flight 610.

At the time, she denied the charges against her and was removed from the fraud lawsuit in January. However, the star currently faces a $50 million racketeering lawsuit and a $2.1 million “aiding and abetting” lawsuit.

Notwithstanding, she will not let that dull her shine as she openly revealed that she was having “good sex” recently but was not open to marriage or dating attorneys.

Last November, The Blast confirmed Erika’s decision to stay away from romantic connections with lawyers and marriage. At the same time, she declared to TMZ that she would “never” get hitched once her divorce was finalized.

Her divorce was yet to be settled at the time, but she looked forward to dating again, which she seemed to have fulfilled after being spotted on a couple of dates with different men.

The television personality was definitely more than ready to mingle, and she revealed what her ideal man must have – stacks of cash and intelligence. As for age, she was not open to dating men younger than 25.

The “Pretty Mess” Vocalist Gets Roped Into New Lawsuit Linking To Her Former Spouse

The Blast previously detailed the latest lawsuit Erika and her company EJ Global LLC received earlier this year involving her ex-husband.

Her attorney Evan C. Borges denied the accusations against her and issued a statement, saying, “The complaint is another misguided effort to blame Erika for the conduct of others in which she had no part.”

The legal rep also stated that the “Roller Coaster” songstress possessed no law degree and had never been involved in the work at Tom’s law firm.

He maintained that the now-nonoperational Girardi & Keese co-founder should be the focal point, including his law firm and those actually involved in the alleged fraud.

Borges claimed Erika played no role in the affair, and he believed including her in the lawsuit was for more publicity and was “without any basis in reality.”
