Harry Styles is “heartbroken” after being forced to cancel a show in Copenhagen due to a deadly shooting at a nearby mall.
“I’m heartbroken along with the people of Copenhagen. I adore this city. The people are so warm and full of love,” Styles, 28, tweeted Sunday evening. “I’m devastated for the victims, their families, and everyone hurting. I’m sorry we couldn’t be together. Please look after each other. H.”
Hours before the “As It Was” singer was set to take the stage at Copenhagen’s Royal Arena for his “Love on Tour” show, a shooting broke out at nearby Fields mall around 6 p.m. local time, Copenhagen police announced via social media Sunday, adding a description of the shooter as a 22-year-old male.
“I’m heartbroken along with the people of Copenhagen. I adore this city,” Styles tweeted following news of the shooting. The New York Times later detailed that three people were killed and at least three others were critically injured during the deadly attack.

A Danish man has since been taken into custody.

Styles’ tour is scheduled to proceed with show in Paris Tuesday, July 5, at Accor Arena.
