Whether transitioning into a new career has been playing your mind for quite some time or you’ve been searching for a way to specialise in your current role, there’s no time like the present.

Becoming stagnant in our job is something we all hope to avoid, and luckily, there are initiatives in place to help us diversify, upskill and broaden our horizons.


National College of Ireland (NCI) provides the unique opportunity to avail of free or reduced cost courses that will allow you to fill the skills shortages in industries ranging from IT to Entrepreneurship and find a role you really enjoy.



Through the Springboard+ and Human Capital Initiatives, NCI addresses gaps in workplace skills and improves the country’s overall ability to fill job vacancies.


Co-funded by the Irish Government and the European Social Fund, everyone can apply to these online courses regardless of employment status. Completely free of charge if you’re unemployed or 90% funded for those in work, these courses are accessible to anyone.


Offering a range of certificate, higher diploma and postgraduate diploma level courses in areas ranging from data analytics and cybersecurity to software development, entrepreneurship and more.
