After sharing a throwback picture of the lovebirds, the following slides detailed the first birthday the couple spent with Lattanzi. The patriarch took the mother and daughter on a “week-long adventure in the Out Islands of the Bahamas.”
The entrepreneur noted that the family rented a house on the secluded island, where they had to travel everywhere by boat. Although Easterling enjoyed the privacy, commuting on open waters proved dangerous.
Following a one-day visit to the Great Guana Cay, the trio encountered an intense storm threatening their safety. As the 70-year-old tried to maneuver their boat to safety, he feared they were being pushed off course.
Surprisingly the storm vanished as quickly as it had arrived, the sea turned back to a “beautiful turquoise” color, and the family received a warm welcome to the Hopetown Lighthouse on Elbow Cay from dolphins and a rainbow.
Easterling concluded his loving post, “Every day with Olivia there was a hint of magic, and every day with Olivia was a bit of the supernatural. Happy Birthday, Honey — I love you!”
