Justin Timberlake has finally addressed his drunk driving arrest after being ordered by a court to apologize for his actions.

On Friday, a judge officially accepted the singer's guilty plea, letting him get off on a less serious offense compared to his initial drinking while intoxicated (DWI) charge.

According to reports, Justin Timberlake took the plea deal in order to "move on" from the arrest as he prioritizes his family and ongoing world tour.

Following the finalization of his DWI case, in which he took a plea deal to a lesser violation, Timberlake gave a court-ordered apology outside the courtroom.

The singer told the press that he made a mistake and warned that no matter what, one should never get behind the wheel after drinking alcohol.

“This is a mistake that I made but I’m hoping that whoever is watching and listening right now can learn from this mistake,” Timberlake said. “Even one drink — don’t get behind the wheel of the car.”

The "SexyBack" singer arrived in court earlier today looking stern as he prepared to enter his plea in his driving while ability-impaired case.

According to TMZ, he entered a plea deal where he agreed to do 25-40 hours of community service and would make a public service announcement, presumably of driving while impaired.

Timberlake managed to escape a heavy punishment and would only pay a fine of around $300- $500.

He turned up for the hearing in a navy blue sweater and brown-gray slacks with rose-colored sunglasses covering his eyes.
