Kailyn Lowry apologizes to Demi Lovato for using ‘she/her’ pronouns

Baby, she’s sorry, she is sorry.

Kailyn Lowry apologized to Demi Lovato for using “she/her” pronouns while talking about the non-binary singer in the most recent episode of her “Coffee Convos” podcast.

“So, I really just came on here to apologize and say, moving forward, I want to do better,” the “Teen Mom 2” star, 29, told fans in a series of videos posted to her Instagram Story Thursday.

“I want to respect people and what their pronouns are and truly just, like, ask people moving forward.”

Speaking directly to Lovato, Lowry asked for forgiveness and that the pop star, also 29, “be patient because I want to do this right, and I want to get everyone’s pronouns correctly.”

She also vowed to “do better moving forward.”

Lovato revealed in May that they identify as non-binary and would be changing their pronouns to “they/them.”

“[This] best represents the fluidity I feel in my gender expression,” the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer explained at the time.

Lowry told fans Thursday that she felt compelled to acknowledge her mistake after recently correcting her ex Chris Lopez for continuously referring to her as “they.”

“I think it was yesterday or the day before I got on here to correct Chris on my pronouns. My pronouns are ‘she’ and ‘her.’ He constantly calls me ‘they,’” she lamented. “Knowing that that’s done to me, I actually caught myself referring to Demi Lovato in today’s episode as ‘her’ and ‘she’ when her [sic] pronoun is ‘they.’”

The seasoned MTV personality’s social media posts came one week after she exposed Lopez — with whom she shares sons Lux, 4, and Creed, 1 — for “fat-shaming” her in an alleged text message exchange.

According to screenshots, Lopez, 27, told Lowry, “You know if you ran as much as your mouth, prolly…nvm just have your nanny have my kids ready thanks.”

Lowry and Lopez were longtime friends before things turned romantic in 2016. Their on-and-off relationship continued for years before the pair finally called it quits for good in July 2020.

While Lopez has allegedly signed a contract to join “Teen Mom 2,” Lowry told fans this summer that she won’t be filming any more episodes of MTV’s long-running reality series.

The “Pride Over Pity” author helped launch the show in 2011 as an original cast member alongside Jenelle Evans, Chelsea Houska and Leah Messer. (Evans, 29, and Houska, 30, have since departed the series.)

When a fan asked Lowry whether Lopez’s potential participation in the show “upset” her during an August Instagram Q&A, the mom of four sniped, “I don’t give one single f—k what Chris does.”

Lowry also shares sons Isaac, 11, and Lincoln, 7, with exes Jo Rivera and Javi Marroquin, respectively.
