Kim Kardashian Is Unable To Obtain A Permanent Restraining Order
According to new court documents, Kardashian petitioned for a permanent restraining order against a 30-year-old man named Melvin Jeffery Conley. She labeled him a "stalker" in her first request for temporary protection.
However, her petition is currently on hold after a recent hearing revealed her legal reps had been unable to serve Conley with the papers. This move is required for the court to make the protection order permanent, and the man seems to know this.
Fortunately, the judge gave Kardashian a second chance and postponed the hearing to September. In the meantime, the temporary protection order will ensure Conley stays away from the reality TV star, per In Touch.

Emma Roberts Warned Kardashian Warned About The Obsessed Fan
Kardashian's petition for the temporary restraining order was filed in August, and The Blast reported that the terrifying ordeal began with Emma Roberts. The "American Horror Story" actress warned her co-star about Conley's fixation on her.
The man broke into Roberts' California residence in May while she was away and had the guts to call her cell phone from the home's landline. Conley confirmed he was in her home and shared his plan to contact Kardashian.
The actress secured her safety with a restraining order, seemingly motivating Conley to focus solely on Kardashian. In her restraining order petition, she revealed he appeared at her mom Kris Jenner's home, claiming to be a client.

The Man Tracked Down Kardashian's Hidden Home
Kardashian stressed that Conley was relentless in his efforts to harass her by tracking down her Malibu home. She noted her residence was not easy to locate, nor was it publicized, yet the obsessed found her.
The TV personality claimed he tried to scale the property's fence, but security found him before he made the jump. He allegedly declared his intention to hop over despite getting caught, causing Kardashian to worry about his boldness.
She implored the court in her restraining order petition to grant her and her kids protection from Conley's harassment. Kardashian claimed his actions had caused her significant "worry, concern and severe emotional distress."

The Reality TV Star Is No Stranger To Obsessed Fans
Conley isn't the first man Kardashian has requested a protection order from, as she filed the same petition in 2022. The Blast shared that she was allegedly harassed by a man who frequently lurked outside her home.
The legal documents claimed the man showed up at Kardashian's home three times, telling security he was there to meet her for business. Although he was told to leave, that did not stop him from returning and allegedly possessing a gun.
"I am informed that my private security has met with him and informed him that I have no desire to have any contact with him. I am informed that (the man) told my private security that he possesses a gun," the 43-year-old claimed in the filing.
The 'Stalker' Followed Kim Kardashian To New York
Kardashian labeled the man a "stalker," claiming he followed her out of state after failing to gain entry into her residence. "I am informed that he attempted to gain access to my hotel during my recent trip to New York," she revealed.
The man's efforts to reach her did not end there, with Kardashian claiming he contacted the realtor who worked with one of her sisters and made several social media posts about her. She implored the court to step in, fearing for her safety and those around her.
"I am concerned that without a restraining order in place, he will continue to attempt to access me, and he may further escalate to physical violence," her plea read. Fortunately, the judge granted her request and stopped the man's harassment.
