Julia Fox is a muse once more.
After famously declaring that she inspired filmmaker Josh Safdie when he wrote “Uncut Gems,” the actress is playing “dream” girl to buzzy New York brand Seks (pronounced “sex”).
“Julia is a dream, she’s everything,” the label’s Abel Cepeda Ljoka and Will Kowall tell Page Six Style.
“She does Julia and follows no one, so it’s exciting every time she steps out to see how she puts things together.”
Kanye West’s ex, 32, has stepped out in three different Seks designs in recent weeks, including the flaming leather bikini top she paired with 9-inch platforms for a stroll around LA.
Fittingly dubbed the “Titty Smasher,” the stringy style retails for $450 and is made to “[hug] all the right places, tightly” and ooze “sheer c—titude,” per the design duo.
“Some commented that it didn’t fit right,” they said. “But no, sweeties, it’s doing exactly what it’s supposed to — you either get the aesthetic or you don’t.”
Fox has quickly become the buzzy brand’s celebrity muse.GC ImagesSeks is also behind the glossy black bandeau and furry-sleeved jacket Fox wore for an April outing, as well as the $3,000 croc-embossed cutout corset dress she modeled later that month in Paris.
“The front zipper continues along the bust to the back, giving you the feeling that you can keep pulling it — and the curiosity of what will happen if you do,” the pair said of the inspiration behind the latter look.
This cutout number was crafted from “shiny crocodile-print leather corseted for the gods,” per Seks.BACKGRIDThe label was founded in 2019 as Seks Fifth Avenue, a play on the iconic department store, although that name didn’t last long — “Saks came for us,” they said.
“We began the brand at the beginning of the pandemic at a time where we didn’t have access to materials or supplies, so we started by using pieces from our personal closets,” the designers continued. “This led to scouring for discounted and defected factory pieces, along with basic thrifting.”
While upcycling’s “still a part of our process,” they added, Seks has since shifted its focus to leather looks like the ones embraced by the “Uncut Gems” actress.
Princess Nokia wore a custom Seks outfit for Coachella 2022.But Fox isn’t Seks’ only famous fan; Grimes wore a white leather breastplate ($2,500) modeled after a woman’s nude torso for a magazine shoot in March, rapper Latto sported a denim-and-leather racing top ($2,500) in her “Wheelie” music video and Princess Nokia was spotted in a crop top customized with her stage name during her Coachella performance in April.
Seks has even popped up on the fashion-packed Netflix hit “Emily in Paris,” whose costume designer, Patricia Field, once stocked the brand in her downtown showroom.

“No matter how she interprets the pieces through her own energy, the outcome always aligns with ours,” they said of the brunette beauty.
“See, Seks is a whole mood, not just clothing. So to wear it, no matter who you are, you have to have that power when you walk. And Julia has it.”
