The singer’s older sister, Brandi Cyrus, is applauding Miley for her newest hit single, “Flowers.”

MEGAIt’s not just the catchy tune or the bomb a** music video Miley created to go along with the song that Brandi loves, but she absolutely loves the lyrical theories her fans are conjuring up.
Ever since “Flowers” was released on January 13th, it has completely BLOWN UP on social media, especially TikTok.
Miley fans have been in investigative overdrive since its release and are picking up on EVERY. SINGLE. EASTER. EGG they can.
There have been many theories about the song, but the common theme among all the theories is that it’s about Liam Hemsworth and possible infidelity.

Appearing on Wells Adams’ podcast, “Your Favorite Thing Podcast,” Brandi said, “Miley’s new song, all the tea … and all the narratives that fans are making on TikTok. It’s so good.”
The song was released on Hemsworth’s 33rd birthday.
“The song did come out on his birthday — was that on purpose? I don’t know. Can’t say. Genius, though,” Brandi noted.
She praised Miley’s fans for going “hard in the paint” and continuing to “create narrative after narrative.”

The Bruno Mars theory revolves around his lyrics for “When I Was Your Man” in comparison to the Miley’s lyrics for “Flowers.”
He sings, “I should have bought you flowers, And held your hand,” Mars sings. “Should have gave you all my hours, When I had the chance / Take you to every party ’cause all you wanted to do was dance / Now my baby’s dancing, But she’s dancing with another man.”

Miley sings in the chorus, “ “I can buy myself flowers / Write my name in the sand / Talk to myself for hours / Say things you don’t understand / I can take myself dancing / And I can hold my own hand / Yeah, I can love me better than you can.”
Another theory that recently surfaced is that Hemsworth cheated on Miley with his “Hunger Games” co-star, Jennifer Lawrence, between 2012 to 2015.
In the music video for flowers, Miley wears a shiny gold dress, which many believe to be a nod to a dress JLaw wore in 2012 at the first “Hunger Games” movie red carpet.
She stood right next to Hemsworth during press photos and their arms were wrapped around each other’s backs.

Fans have now uncovered an interview clip in which JLaw admits she and the Aussie native shared a kiss off-camera.
During a 2015 appearance on Andy Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Live,” Lawrence played a game of “Plead the Fifth.”
“Have you two ever kissed when the cameras weren’t rolling?” Cohen asked, referring to the fact that they obviously kissed while in character as Katniss and Gale.

Miley and her ex-husband first got together in 2009 while filming, “The Last Song,” and were together off-and-off for a decade.
They tied the knot in December 2018 and they were divorced by 2020.
MEGABrandi continued to explain some other theories that have rocked her world.
“Then there was, ‘The suit she’s wearing is the suit Liam wore at the Avengers premiere, where he told her that she needed to behave for once. And so this is a f**k you because she’s in the suit.’ Hilarious,” Brandi continued. “Then the other one was, ‘The house is the house where Liam used to take people [to] cheat on her with.’ The narratives are f**king hilarious, but it’s so great. The best PR that could ever happen because it gets people talking about the song on TikTok and it’s everywhere. And it’s just so fun to watch it all play out. Miley fans, I love ya.”
When Wells asked Brandi if any of the theories were true, she replied, “I’m not here to say that’s true and what’s not true,” she said. “Only Miley knows the truth.”
