Paris Hilton is topping the list of best in channeling Marilyn Monroe, outshining her BFF Kim Kardashian‘s record. 

Recall that the SKIMS founder was the first to recreate Monroe’s iconic style. She wore the look to the Met Gala last year, and it got people talking!

However, the reality star has been usurped by her pal Hilton who channeled Monroe for her Vogue Arabia shoot, and fans think she recreated the icon better than Kardashian did.

The hotel heiress perfectly resembled the iconic actress in the photos she shared on her Instagram page. The “Simple Life” star rocked a fluffy white robe for the shoot, and her blonde hair was styled in Monroe’s signature bob. Hilton accessorized the look with a matching statement necklace and earrings. 

Hilton captioned the post, “Channeling my forever icon.” In no time, the post received several likes and thousands of comments, with people noting the similarities between Hilton and Monroe.

According to the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star, she got the idea in 2021, and she thought that the American icon was the best interpretation of the theme.

However, Kardashian faced a setback as the original dress didn’t fit her body. Recounting her displeasure about the news, Kardashian said, “So when it didn’t fit me, I wanted to cry because it can’t be altered at all.” 

Hence, the reality star was left with two options, either to shed weight or not to wear the dress. Choosing to lose weight instead, the socialite incorporated a strict workout routine. Narrating her experience, Kardashian said, “It was this or nothing. I would wear a sauna suit twice a day, run on the treadmill, completely cut out all sugar and all carbs, and just eat the cleanest veggies and protein.”

In no time, fans and other celebrities congratulated the “Paris in Love” star, and Kim was leading the list. Kardashian wrote, “so happy for you guys!!!” 

Following the big news, it was discovered that the “KUWTK” alum played a fundamental role in Hilton’s motherhood journey. Hilton credited the KKW Beauty founder for helping her through the IVF process by referring her fertility specialist, Dr. Andy Huang.

“I didn’t even know anything about it,” the New Yorker confessed in a podcast interview. “I’m happy that she told me that advice and introduced me to her doctor.”

Fans know that the two socialites have an on-and-off relationship. Their friendship goes back to when they were preschoolers and blossomed into adulthood. Unfortunately, Kim’s fame contributed to the downward turn of their friendship.

After years of strained communication between the former BFFs, they rekindled their love in 2016 at Kris Jenner’s Christmas Eve party. Since then, the pair have remained on amicable terms.
