Sources with “Selling Sunset” shared with TMZ that Vander won’t be returning for the show’s sixth season.

According to them, she was leaving to focus on her family and her Miami-based business. Her struggles balancing time between her business in Miami and the show in Los Angeles were often documented in “Selling Sunset.”

Her real estate license and credentials were transferred from The Oppenheim Group to The Compass, under which Vander’s company will be working going forward. The insider also shared that the co-founder of The Oppenheim Group, Jason Oppenheim, is well aware of her move.

“Maya’s goal is to become successful,” the insider added. “She’s looking forward to working with her team and is excited about the future.”

While she feels that the focus of the reality series has shifted to more drama than real estate, Vander will continue to “be on good terms” with all of the cast members.

I do not wish this on anyone. What was a regular weekly checkup turned into a nightmare I never imagined would happen to me.”

Days later, she shared with UsWeekly the pain she felt losing her child, especially during the holidays.

“My family is devastated,” Vander told the outlet. “My baby’s due date was right around Christmas. This is the best time of the year to celebrate. My husband is heartbroken, and I know I need to be strong for him and our family.”
