At 52 years old, it’s true that the actor still looks the same as the college student who stole his stepsister’s heart in “Clueless.” He still looks youthful as ever, and fans are constantly badgering him to spill his skin-care secrets.
Thankfully, the cat has been let out of the bag. On the 25th anniversary of “Clueless,” the cast got together at the Comic-Con in Chicago. There, his co-stars proceeded to persuade him of his skin-care secrets. Sadly, the answer has to do more with what the star has sold than with any product he bought.

The actor also mentioned that although he might seem young on the outside, he felt like an eighty-year-old on the inside.
He Won The People’s Sexiest Man Alive Award In 2021
In an interview with Extra, the actor, who was awarded this year’s Sexiest Man Alive, shared how he felt about receiving the honor.
When Rudd was first announced as the Sexiest Man Alive, he noted to People, “I do have an awareness, enough to know that when people hear that I’d be picked for this, they would say, ‘What?’ This is not false humility. There are so many people that should get this before me.”
Despite his rise to another echelon of stardom, Rudd insisted he’s most happy in the presence of his wife of 18 years, Julie, and their kids Jack and Darby.
“When I think about myself, I think of myself as a husband and a father, like I’m that,” he explained. “I hang out with my family when I’m not working. That’s what I kind of like the most.”
MEGAWhen asked how his friends would take it, he mentioned that he expected them to saddle him with “so much grief.”
“As they should. I would,” he explained. “I mean, I’m going to lean into it hard. I’m going to own this. I’m not going to try to be like, ‘Oh, I’m so modest.’ I’m getting business cards made. But all of my friends will destroy me, and I expect them to. And that’s why they’re my friends,” he concluded.
He also was thrilled to know that his life was going to a different turn. “I’m hoping now that I’ll finally be invited to some of those sexy dinners with Clooney and Pitt and B Jordan,” he says. “And I figure I’ll be on a lot more yachts. I’m excited to expand my yachting life. And I’ll probably try to get better at brooding in really soft light. I like to ponder. I think this is going to help me become more inward and mysterious. And I’m looking forward to that.”
His Wife’s Reaction To The Award
In the same interview, the actor quipped that his wife would have voted for Keanu Reeves had she had the chance to vote. “No, she would have voted for Keanu Reeves,” he teased Extra. “Come on; he’s Keanu. I’d vote for him.”
Although Reeves had never been named the Sexiest Man Alive, he was nominated for the award in 1994, when the outlet chose three front-runners: Reeves, Hugh Grant, and Jim Carrey. In a TV special titled “People’s Sexiest Man Alive 2015: 30 Years of Sexy,” former editor of People magazine Jess Cagle revealed that Reeves would have won the honor if the magazine had chosen a winner that year.
The “Clueless” star also spilled about Kate’s initial reaction to his title. He mentioned she was “stupefied” when she first heard the news.
“But you know she was delighted about it. After some giggling and shock, she said, ‘Oh, they got it right.’ And that was very sweet,” he said. “She was probably not telling the truth, but what’s she going to say?”

Rudd made his big break on TV as Cher Horowitz’s stepbrother in the movie “Clueless.”
In 2004, he played the role of Brian Fantana on the film “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy” alongside Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, and a host of others. The following year, he featured in “The 40-Year-Old Virgin,” starring Carell and Seth Rogen.
