The NFL world is still talking about the big announcement that legendary quarterback Tom Brady made yesterday.
“I’ll get to the point right away. I’m retiring. For good,” the 45-year-old said in a video shared to social media. “I know the process was a pretty big deal last time, so when I woke up this morning, I figured I’d just press record and let you guys know first.”
He continued, “I really thank you guys so much, to every single one of you for supporting me, my family, my friends, my teammates, my competitors, I could go on forever there’s too many.”
After the video, Brady shared several photos to Instagram of his life over the years — some with other NFL players such as retired Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Rothlisburger, retired New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees, and current Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
One of those photos also featured Brady’s ex, Bridget Moynahan.

The 45-year-old quarterback shares custody with Moynahan, but are rarely spotted together. Yesterday, in the sentimental moment of looking back at the years, Brady shared a beautiful photo of him, Moynahan, and their son, Jack, together.
All three are dressed nicely, wearing button-down shirts, as they are seen smiling from ear to ear while Jack has his arms around both of his parents.

MEGAAfter his split from the “I, Robot” actress, he moved on and ended up marrying Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen. He and Bündchen share two children together, Vivian Lake Brady and Benjamin Rein.
Brady also shared various photos of him and Bündchen after he announced his retirement from the NFL, although the two got divorced a few months ago.
The speculation that Brady and Bündchen were not on the best terms first began when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback unexpectedly took an 11-day break from training camp in August due to “personal reasons.” After Brady returned to training camp from his 11-day absence, he released a statement saying, “Everyone has different situations they’re dealing with, and we all have unique challenges to our lives. I’m 45 years old, man.”
Just a few months later, in October 2022, the two filed for divorce, both releasing statements to social media.
“In recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage. We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together. We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve,” Brady wrote, in part, in an Instagram Story.
The two remain in touch with one another as they agreed to share custody of their two children. The Brazilian fashion model shared well-wishes for the now-retired quarterback, commenting on Brady’s Instagram post, which included their two children, “Wishing you only wonderful things in this new chapter of your life.”
